About the author:

Richard Massie is a skateboarder, creative director, horchata enthusiast, and connector of people. He was born in a women’s prison and raised in Venice, California since he was 2 days old. The former co-founder of Those Folks, Richard has worked with brands such as Nike, The Hundreds, Born X Raised, Crap Eyewear, Thunder Trucks & more. His heart bleeds Tapatio. He hasn’t missed watching a Laker game since 2003. He’s currently doing cool shit at The Hoxton Hotel in Downtown LA. Richard can often be found at a museum, bookstore, or laundromat. He’s also the guy who once designed sunglasses worn by Lil Wayne, and whose “Cocaine Is for Lames” t-shirt sold out at Fred Segal in Santa Monica.
